2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Leighton (7179) - London, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle at Chriso Tasting, London. I brought this one back from Turkey! Pours clear yellow with a fine, white foam head. Sugary lemon aroma. LIght sweet flavor with mild dry lemon, vague pale malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light sweet finish with a bit more lemon and other dry citrus, some pale doughy malts. Not offensive. I could envision this being somewhat pleasant drinking on a beach in Turkey; it’s less pleasurable when sitting at Chriso’s table.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 oipivo (243) - Poznan, POLAND - AUG 23, 2012
It smells ok, lemon and sugar. Efes jumped on the Radler wagon that seems to be sweeping central Europe. Its...ok. It tastes very sweet and results in terrible hangovers, but hey...it’s not horrible?
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 flying_pig (635) - SCOTLAND - AUG 4, 2012
500ml Bottle (Gift from Turkey):
Light golden straw colour with good clarity and a thin, white and foamy head on top that stays pretty consistent.
A lemon aroma but an artificial one with some light malts and touches of sugar. There is some basic citrus aromas and a hint of bitterness.
Artificial lemon taste with citrus and hints of bitterness and a mild malt base. There is some watery syrup flavours and touches of sugar along with a finishing citrus tang.
Light but not quite thin bodied, there is a touch of bitterness with a good citrus tang. The carbonation is about medium and the finish is a wet one.
An average beer at best, it was drinkable but the lemon taste was a little artificial and there wasn’t really that much else going on other than that. On of the better radlers but nothing to write home about.
