UPDATED: MAR 18, 2013 I was expecting a lot worse! Pours from a green bottle a light straw color with carbonation very visible. A slight nose of sweet malt, but very slight. Taste is of a typical light pilsner - some malt, a touch of sweetness. This is nothing special, but it is easy enough to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2013 Draught at istanbul airport, turkey. Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet malty aroma, some fruity notes and some yeast. Malty taste, medium co2, woody and suryp notes, sweetness, some hops at the end. Basic lager, not bad but not good.

GoufCustom (237) - HONG KONG - FEB 11, 2013

Very pale gold colour; Thin head and white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Small lacing and active carbonation; Pungent and lasting skunk smell as soon as it was popped! That aside, smell is all wet cardboard, corn and grass; Low to medium sweet taste of light malt, corn, wet cardboard, cold tablets and light chalk dust (oh not again!) Light body; watery palate; Hop bitterness is very low and permeated the mouth feel along with wet cardboard and chalk dust with no finish to speak of; Slight dry after taste, quite easy to mouth once the skunk smell is gone.

Comments: another green-bottled macro bites the skunk. Even without the horrid light struck, this is a very mediocre lager and barely better than Viru because it was not metallicly-tinted. The oh-so-familiar taste of wet cardboard and chalk dust makes it a sure-fire drain pour. Avoid.

Aroma of skunk as soon as I cracked the cap. Clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is not so skunky in the glass, mostly sweet malt. The flavor is similar. Not as offensive as inital aroma led me to expect.

Bottle @ home picked up at Stockade Denver. $2.49 for 500mL Turkey ticker. Pours a clear golden appearance with a small white head. Creamy, a bit cloying sweet malty, herbal aroma. Lemon, somewhat bitter, dull hoppy, sweet pale malty flavor. Bleh.

Pours pale yellow, slight head. Aroma light malt. Taste is lightly sweet. Nondescript malt through he middle. I think there is some hop bitterness at the finish...or sneaky alcohol. It was cold.

330ml can. Light golden with a white head. Malty, with a hint of fruityness. Brief bitter finish. Pretty ok, albeit a bit anonymous.

Bottle in Istanbul. Kind of like the Budweiser of Turkey: typical mass distributed pale lager. Not a bad one, pours clear yellow, fairly refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

unstablefable (210) - SCOTLAND - JAN 25, 2013
Pours a clear gold with a thick head which soon dissipates. Slightly doughy with faint summer fruits, taste is not very evident but there isn't much to offend either. Light refreshing but not ground breaking.
