Thanks to Brewfiend for sharing. Pourrs a very light straw yellow. Smells almost like a Turkish gutter, with some sweet corn. Flavor is pretty rancid! A very offensive beer.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Serbian version.0,33 l bottle. The Turkish original that used to be available here wasn’t bad - quite crispy and refreshing actually, but this version is awful, very bland with a foul and sour lemony taste.

I thought this beer had a bitter taste. It’s appearence was a slight yellow, not any golden color to speak of. The warmer it got the worse the flavor and aroma got. It was below average at best.

Can from Israeli supermarket: Clear yellow fizzy water, smells like nothing in particular. Sweet flavor with a wiff of corn chip and a bit of chemically bitterness. However, suprisingly un-bad (not saying it’s good, just not as rank as it could be), went well with potato chips. Or I’m just desparate in a land not known for its beer.
By the by, in the homonym department, "efes" is Hebrew for "zero".

Macro golden color. No head. Sweet adjunct smell. Thin macro taste but more like an Iron City then and AB. It amazes me that countries that have no history of quality brewing try to emulate the worst style (and I mean bad pilsners...Miller Lite, ect). This is bad and you probably couldn’t even get your Coors buddie to drink it because the bottle looks too imported. Turkey...stick to making fake LV, Prada and D&G.

Part of a Christmas Beers of the World pack. Flavorless and overall watery. Perhaps a country that is over 99% Muslim should not be brewing beer...

Bottle. So, wondering what beer in Turkey is all about, I bought this on a recent road trip. Aromas and pour are reminiscent of corn flavored fizzy water. Flavor is more of the same. Pretty dull and largely unimpressive. Most of this went down the drain.

Bottle. Clear light yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, bread, moderate cardboard. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a short to average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (101107)
