UPDATED: JAN 1, 2008 A little veggie cabbage aroma when I popped the lid on this 12 bottle. Probably because it is a rather old bottle. Date code 131105, I think. Smell clears to a more lemon oil aroma in the glass. No bubbles or head on this stuff, looks completely flat. On the palate however, it does have some good clean tingly carbonation. Taste is rather well mannered. Controlled with very litlle bitterness. This makes it friendly and enjoyable IMHO. Taste buds welcome this amicable brew. Has a slight citrus flavor but it lacks the typical bitter bite. Easy to like and repeatable. Does not possess any pilsner bite. More like a well behaved american lager. Finish is short and sweet with some metallic industrial hints.

Bottle at another "riots-night" on Nørrebro, the night after "Øllets Dag". There is bonfire in the streets. Clear yellow - white head. White bread, cardboard, egg, thin and boring - now incl. cardboard !!!

Woah. This is the worst beer I’ve had all year I think. Aroma= nothing. Pour equals a light gold with no head, no bubbles and almost trasparent. Taste was like a Budweiser with less carbonation and less taste if that’s possible.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2008 I love this pilsner with a fairly German character, but a little different and interesting. It has a decent white head that dissipates to an uneven, small foamy top and a little weak lace on a gold body. It has a malty body that really comes through in the smooth feel and balancing sweetness more than grainy taste, as the real flavour is mostly from the hops here. It has a prominent, lasting grassy, herbal, even minty flavour and definite hoppy bitterness. It is very drinkable yet still flavourful, with a tart bite and a grassy, faintly nutty element.

Bottle. Fine bubbly white head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Clear and flat looking body with a yellow color. Aroma of hay and straw, light caramel and hint of grassy notes. Light to medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Flavor was light bitter with some sweetness. Light dry and bitter finish.

more like a light and lemony lager, with a chalky tangy mid palate. body is a little weak and the carbonation a little stingy. but that gives it it’s strange character (i guess) not bad at all and not quite good.

Bottle. Sampled at 2007 Fort York TFOB. Yay, a new country. Clear pale gold, sort of wan-looking in the glass. Slightly sour aroma, a little more up-front with the grain (should be appealing to many Canadian macro drinkers), quite decent sweet clover hop presence - I actually didn’t mind it, the sourness might just have been relatively fresh alphas. The taste, well, pretty harsh, not much fresh or sweet here, adjunts and aftereffect abounded. Very weak body, not much carbonation, and a plasticy aftertaste. Ehhh - another cheapish generic PaleEuroLager to add to the trophy wall at the LCBO later in the fall. Sigh.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2007 Another pale lager... do I need to say anything else, maybe it was slightly better then your average pale lager, but it was nothing that stood out.

12oz bottle from a mix-pack. Was a bit uneasy drinking this beer because it looks so questionable. Basically, tastes like rag water.
