2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’m not a huge pilsener lover but Efes is thoroughly tolerable--nice maltiness, none-too-oppressive hoppiness. In a Turkish restaurant (or even better, on a Turkish beach) Efes is worth the beerspace

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tasted this from the bottle and was expecting a decent Lager, being as this is one of the most popular beers in Turkey. Poured into a Pilsner glass, a short loose white head formed on top of a clear pale straw body. Breakfast cereal and corn adjunct aroma, with a little honey. Crisp in the mouth, with a floral leafy hop side, grain husks and honey malt palate, before ending with a forgettable dry and crisp swallow. Very light bodied and medium in carbonation, this was a relatively clean tasting, straight forward lager that is a reasonable thirst quencher, but little else!!!

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Green bottle poured a dark yellow with almost no head or lacing.
Skunky, wet dishrag aroma with a heavy corn and bitter flavor and metalic finish...yuck.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
it had a sweat aroma, other then that it was more or less a medium pilsner or weak lager. It did feel a little turned to me, but a lot of lagers taste like that
