The initial impression is promising, nice colour with foamy white Pilsener head that retains quite well. Then it is down from there really. Aroma is cardboard, flavour is corn with a sweet finish and a hint of bitterness. Dissapointing at best.

Many thanks to my friend Barb for this hand imported can. Watery yellow body. corn and wet spring dairy farm runoff in the aroma. Corn flavored body with a similar taste.

Bottle at Bosphorus, a Turkish restaurant in Winter Park, FL. Looks, feels, and tastes like a typical, skunky, pale lager from Turkey would. Crystal clear pale golden color. Quickly dissipating, fizzy white head. Moderate, soapy lacing. Aroma and flavor of stale corny malts and grassy grains. Minimal floral hop character. Weak, thin body. Pretty much awful all around. Drainpour.

Uni Staff Club Tasting 29/01/08. Light golden colour, faint straw aroma. Soft sweeter malt flavours. LAcks any bitterness or hop characteristics

Bottled. Grassy aroma, light, slightly grainy taste, can barely taste the hops. Slightly metallic aftertaste. Can’t really recommend this.

Tap in Moscow served in a Stary Melnik glass. Clear golden color, almost no head. Aroma is malty and hopy, flavor is a little bit sweet and refreshing with notes of hops and malty too. Mouthfeel is bitter.

Português:Cerveja dourada clara, quase sem espuma, aroma com notas de malte e lúpulo, sabor um pouco adocicado e refrescante com notas de lúpulo e malte. Retrogosto é amargo.

Pours a very light gold color with a big white head. Decent lacing as it all comes together. The nose slightly sour with a touch of hops. The flavor is a little better. Pretty light and nondescript. You could drink quite a few of these. Finishes clean with just a small after taste.

330ml bottle. Pours a light gold with a huge white head that descends rockily. Nice lace, and well carbonated. Pretty to look at, but... what’s that smell? Skunky sour with a mild grassy hop. Pretty bland flavor, a bit grainy and skunky with mild stale grass. Not real good.

33cl brown bottle with EFES molded in the side. I picked this little gem up at Total Wine in S.Florida. Pours a deep deep golden hue, thin creamy white head. Aroma has a touch of corn meal and even a slight bit of spicy hop. Very light Pilsner aroma. Flavor is full of grain and is followed up by mellowing and balanced hop bitterness. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Easy drinking to the point I wish I had more. Quite impressive for a Muslim State...
