0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
This is really undrinkable. Aroma of alcohol and corn. Very sweet and alcoholic flavour with some nasty plastic notes.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
To my surprise this is a pretty good malt liquor. Sweet, malty, and some hop flavor. Finishes clean, crisp, and dry.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle pours a vibrant translucent yellow, small fizzy white head, soft carbonation, with so-so lacing.   Corn, light malts, and sweetness on the nose.   Forwardly sweet, slightly tart, with some candy corn like flavor.   Medium body, decent mouthfeel.   Finishes somewhat astringent and medicinal, but also kinda candy sweet.   A bit too sweet for my taste.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
(bottle - 500 ml) Clear golden color with a thin and fizzy white head. Aroma is a mixture of sweet fruits, malt, corn, and alcohol. Taste is very sweet and malty with a very odd bitter aftertaste. Very harsh on the tongue and sour on the palate.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Smells of pine. For a malt liquor, very good. Surprisingly sweet start with a moderately bitter/acidic finish. Dry texture- you can tell its got a relatively high alcohol content.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Best beer in Turkey but that doesnt say too much. The "extra" stands for the double alcohol content which basically turned a par beer into a below par one...

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Kinda skunky, but malt sweetness overrides it. Dont put your nose up to the bottle. Maybe I have a taste for malt liquor, but I didnt mind this one much; of the Efes line, Id pick this or the dark, but if youre in Turkey, stay away from beer altogether.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 After suffering through a six-pack of Efes Pils, youd think I wouldve known better... but I was able to get this in a single 500ml. bottle, so... Initially this looks good, a clear yellow color with plenty of beading and a large frothy head. Then the bubbles and the head disappear, right as the metallic sweet corn aroma reaches the nose. This is medium-bodied corn squeezings with little razor shavings that scratch at the back of my throat, allowing the alcohol to burn the abrasions. The fumes are burning my nasal passages and I can feel my nostril hairs curling. Theres a bit of a gag reflex when I swallow. Im getting a bit nervous about what might happen when I try to eliminate this....
Other than that, this is a fine malt liquor.
