RCL (964), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Aug 19, 2007 Not totally awful but not something I will seek out again. Alcohol is evident on the finish. Other than alcohol, some fairly clean grain flavor, but nothing else.
tomer (158), Israel May 2, 2008 0.5L can. Stable creamy head, clear light yellow colour, strong hoppy aroma with metalic nuances. Strong oppresive alcoholic overwhelming almost completely some interesting fruit and vanila notes. The aftertaste is also strongly alcoholic and dull. This beer could be quite nice with less alcohol. Radek Kliber (3278), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 18, 2008 Bottle 650ml
Appearance: Golden brew with good depth of color, medium yet thick and creamy head 3+. Nose : Hint of aromatic hops with clean grainy base, light hint of cheap alcohol, creamy side. Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Earthy, woody in character. Hints of earthy bitterness, short lived in character. Behind that creamy texture blend with alcohol. Lacking crispness and clarity.
SHIG (1375), Oberoffligen, Germany Aug 5, 2007 Can: Poured a golden color with a white cream color head. Sweet hoppy malt aroma. The taste is actually fruity almost apple like, weird because the smell is nothing close. Finish is dry and bittery hops. PilsnerPeter (1322), Flushing, New York, USA Jun 25, 2007 Bottle: It was labeled at 8% ABV. Clear golden with a stable white head that actually laces a bit. Sweet doughy malt aroma with a hint of honey. Sweet flavor with that standard cheap sweet malt flavor. Has a peppery alcohol bite in the finish. This stuff is not bad for what it is.
