Draft of course. Pours a light yellow body. Pilsner malts, grassy hop character. A bit easy going, well very easy going. A malt backbone nothing that really strays from the pils tho.

This beer had no flavor at all, other than a slight bacterial thing. No saaz hops to be found anywhere. No malt flavor to be found anywhere. A weak attempt.

Enjoyed a pint of this one at the bar at Egan and Sons, in Montclair, NJ. Pours to a beautiful, bright, golden color, with a thick, white head, and a lively carbonation. The nose on this beer is very nice with good, crisp, pilsner malt aroma, and some nice, grassy/herbal hop aroma. The palate is crisp and clean, with good pilsner malt flavor, on a very smooth, and drinkable body. This beer finishes with some good pilsner malt flavor up front, then ends with a nice, pleasing herbal hop bitterness that lingers on the tongue. An enjoyable pilsner, with good herbal hop aromas and flavors, and good pilsner malt flavor. Egan and Sons isn’t going to bowl hard core beer geeks over by any means, but I must say, I enjoyed this place a lot. The food was great, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the house brews are respectable.

Pours dark yellow. It has little aroma and is bitter. Not much complexity to it at all. Nothing much more to say.

6.29.05 Meager Pils. If it really was at all. Kind of like their lager with a touch of Saaz. Sort of...

on tap, color is bright golden yellow, no head because it was poured to the top of a dimpled mug. little to no aroma which is lager-like, and a bitter flavor - kind of like when you have oj right after brushing your teeth. medium to high carbonation. tasted too much like their lager too. these guys need to step it up.

Solid, better than the lager. Not much else to say here. Retained its grain character.
