bottle (Vielen Dank, pivnizub!). Hazy/cloudy chestnut brown colour, large off-white head. Malty-roasty nose. Medium-bodied with a nice malty background. Caramel, honey, spices and roasted malts are detectable. Slightly yeasty. A nice one.

It’s hazy dark copper with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread/biscuits and light fruit. The moderately sweet flavor has notes of malt, toasted bread, light fruit and the finish is slightly dry.

MoritzF (7386) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 2, 2009
(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a fluffy tanned foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma with subtle fruity notes, shades of liquorice and spicy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a well-matured carbonation. Slightly toasty malty aroma with notes of caramel, peanuts and shy spicy hops; sweet-bitter malty finish with delicate hoppy accents. A fine brew. 02.X.09

pivnizub (7234) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 28, 2009
Bottle: A bit unclear, light amber coloured, quite quickly collapsing yellowish loose head; solid aromas of sweet toasted malt and dark malt, combined with some distinctive traces of aromatic "woody" hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; sweet-malty and nutty finish with an aromatic hoppy tail. A very decent sample.......
