bottle, mit Dank an pivnizub! Clear deep golden colour, mid-sized creamy head. Malty nose. Pleasantly malty, hints of roasted malts, caramel and toffee fudge. Slightly hoppy in the lingering finish. Lots of roasety flavours with a tiny tiny hint of smoke. There are some characteristics of a dark Bock or Doppelbock present. A well-balanced Märzen which I liked a lot!

It’s beautiful dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The moderately sweet flavor has notes of malt, hay, caramel and the finish is slightly bitter and dry.

(bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a small foamy white head. Sweet bready cara-malty and slightly nutty aroma. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Bready and slightly toasted cara-malty taste with a delicate herbal hops character; sweet malt-accented finish with balancing bitter hops. A decent Festbier, a kind of diluted Bock. 23.X.09

Deep golden, clear, small foamy layer; moderate slightly sweetish roasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft; slightly lingering sweet malty and roasty finish with a light bitter aftertaste. Good, but not too exciting.......
