1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 rosenbergh (4653) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 14, 2009
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2010 500 ml bottle. Finland.
Clear pale golden colour with tiny white head.
A bit metallic, bready, burned malty and berry aroma.
Flavour is sweet and a bit strange, even for a n/a beer. Kind of soda-like. Some grassy hoppiness in aftertaste. Not that good though.
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 22, 2008
500ml bottle (K Market)
Pale gold, brief head. Worty aroma, sweet, but not as sweet as wort. Odd tangy hops there too. Lively carbonation. Watery palate. Taste is a bit bizarro. You can tell that it’s been made with some of the ingredients as beer, at least. Slightly cardboardy. I’m tempted to say that this is no worse than their regular lager.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 13, 2008
bottle, bought at the pivovar. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Sweet and malty nose. Light-bodied, sweet and malty with some aromatic hops. A refreshing alcohol free beer.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 2, 2008
Bottled (BB 10/2008)
Golden color, small white head. Sweet wort-like bready aroma. Thin, crisp carbonation. Sweetish rubbery flavor with cardboardish notes. Oily plasticky aftertaste. Ice gold this is a standard non-alco (=not the worst of them)- similar to eg. Sinerbrychoff Nikolai NA, but there is no excuse to drink this ... only for rating purposes.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Miksu (4537) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 31, 2008
0.5 l bottle. Pale golden color with small head. Sweet, fruity, caramelly, bready and cardboardy aroma and flavor. Disgusting.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 oh6gdx (18554) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2008
Bottled. Pale yellow colour, mediumsized fluffy white head, that disappears fast. Hay, paper and some rubber in the aroma. Flavour is quite much the same along with some notes of cardboard.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 pivnizub (7981) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 27, 2008
Bottle at the brewpub. Pale golden, medium sized loose head, unfermented wort in the aroma, sweetish and watery taste, short sweetish and slightly bitter finish. Monotonous brew.........
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 10, 2008
(Bottled) Clear golden with a smallish, foamy head. Plasticky cardboard dominates the aroma, with some corn-flakes-like maltiness hiding in the background. Flavor is lightly malty with the typical, industrial, rubbery-plasticky notes, and no hops. Light-bodied, quite carbonated palate at first - but loses the carbonation really quickly. Not the worst NA beer, but there’s really no excuse for drinking this. It has saccharin, too - yuck!
