2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Picked up this one while in Iceland. It’s appearance is clear light gold and it’s aroma is light floral and hops. The taste is ok a little step above Budweiser. It flows across the palate with a slight co2 bite. Overall well I tried one from Iceland while in Iceland. Need to find a better selection.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Medium white head. Clear yellow body. Rubbery sulphury aroma is quite faint. Dryish rubbery taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish metallic rubbery aftertaste with floral notes. Not really very nice. (0.5l can, from a convenience store in Reykjavik.)

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can in Reykjavik. Just as thin and watery as expected, not much gold about this one. Try a glass of cold, fresh Icelandic water instead if you are offered this one.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2008 Canned at Petelax Beer Festival. Pale golden, airy head. Dusty fruity nose. Sweetish and very thin. Flavour of aluminium and blood. Extremely thin even for a 2.25% beer, so both flavourwise and body-wise it’s like chewing on aluminium foil. No bitterness. I guess malt and hops must be expensive on Iceland, but water cheap.
