50 cl can, Sheffield, UK from Palmi via Iceland. Sweet malt aroma with a strong backing of hops. Sweetness transfers to the flavour, some alcohol and a peppery finish.

(Bottle) Pours clear pale golden with a creamy white head. The aroma holds corn, bread, hay, syrup, honey candy and mild grass. The flavour medium sweet, light bitter and tiny acidic with notes of hay, bread, syrup, corn, honey candy and mild grass. The mouthfeel is round, soft and light sticky and light carbonation. Grain, honey, corn and mild grass. End on a sweet note. Light to medium bodied.

Can, Bottle, Tap. This beer is from my home country and i have had way to much of it. Nice cheap beer. Nice full head but does not last long. A little bitter and a nice taste.

Golden color with tiny head. Slightly hoppy aroma. Malty and bitter taste.

Can. Light golden with a white head. Thin, with sweet malty aroma and lightly hopped. Watery with a slightly bitter finish. Boring, but drinkable.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2012 Can in Akureyri, Iceland. Golden colour with a white head. A very standard lager beer, nice and easy drinkable. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma and flavour

Gull was actually slightly better than the Vicking. The best beer I had in Iceland ? Probably. Average lager by North American standards.

Moderate grain aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Sweet and bitter beginning with the sweetness fading in the finish.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white lace recedes to hug rim. Adjunct aromas. Sweet malt and adjuncts, mild bitter finish.

On trap in Reykjavik. Golden yellow. Thin and weak. Really not very good beer.

tap in some cafe on Laugavegur. Yellow body. Quite carbonated. Hints of lemon and hops in the aroma. No distinct taste, rather bland, thin and boring. (20.Apr.2011)
