Ehringhauser Gold

On tap at the brewpub: Hazy, pale golden coloured, mid-sized fluffy head, slowly diminishing, some pears in the aroma; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft but oily MF; short sweet-bitter finish. Drinkable, but not overwhelming...........

(draught at the brewpub) Cloudy, orange colour with a short foamy white layer. Yeasty, sweet malty nose, slightly grainy with wheaty and subtle fruity (pears) notes. Grainy and worty, moderately yeasty bitter and slightly fruity taste; medium-dry, yeasty and slightly hop bitter finish. Okay but not perfectly matured Kölner Wiess style brew.
