Draught at Restaurant Bratwurstglöck’l, Weimar. Poured a bronze body with a white head. Light, very light slightly oily malty nose. Light, vaguely toasty soft malty taste attacked by some acidity. Understated but ok.

Im Geruch malzig mit leicht hopfenaromatischen Zügen. Moderat malziger Start.

Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,10,10,11,-,11 - 10,47

Dark amber color with a magnificent head. Smells strongly aromatic malty, slightly roasty. Starts with lots of roasted malts, spicy aromatic finish.

Bottle. It pours a nice-looking clear golden body under a white to off-white head. The aroma has some wet cardboard, but is mostly pale malts and fruity hops. Malts and hops blend nicely in the flavor but fails to leave a lasting impression. Some bitterness too. Medium body, dry. Slightly metallic in the finish. Not my beer, but I bet it would go down easily when lawn mowing. 090821

Bottle 0,5l received as a gift from our friend Michael. Thanks! Good looking: Golden copper colored with a creamy tanned head that lasted for a while. Aroma of sweet malt with fruity notes. Inviting. Very soft mouthfeel. Low carbonation. The flavor is roasted malt with hints of corn & grass. The finish is a tad sweet overtaken by a fruity bitterness. KI=8
