Draught (Rosengarten, Rathen): Golden, clear, lively carbonation, stable white head with a little lace; aromatic herbal hoppy nose, minerals and sweet pale malt underneath; mild - but nevertheless spicy - bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and smooth; slightly lingering - a bit drier - bitter-sweet finish with a delicate hoppy tail. Nice and refreshing.....

Strong golden color. Malty grainy aromas. Starts tart, very grainy and bready. The finish is grainy sweet, also with a hoppy-grassy note.

Bottle. Light yellow, moderately frothy, quickly fading head. Sweetish-sourish grainy malty aroma, some subtle honey, lightly hoppy, wet paper. Something between a macrolager and a mishappen helles. Medium carbonation. Taste is watery, sourish with a flat light bitterness. Slightly metallic, the beer feels as a combination of bad malt and bitterish water, badly mixed together so that the mix is not even homogenous. Can’t find any redeemable qualities in this one, sorry.

Hopfig-würziger Geruch. Mittelhopfiger Einstieg. Gestreckt herb-würziger Mittelteil mit guter Süffigkeit. Im Abschluß dann solide Bitternote. Trinkbares Bier.Test vom 15.11.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle. Best thing I can say about the aroma is it smells like beer should. Lots of hops in the flavour with a dry bready finish.

Bottled. Clear pale yellow, small head. Grassy nose with some menthe. Dry and rather crisp with light body. Quite a lot of grassy hops also provide a marked bitterness.

Bottle 500ml.
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, citrus. Flavor is light moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091114]

Clear golden with a tiny white head. Malty aroma with hints of hops. Malty flavour with breadish and mild hoppy notes.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Grainy-malty nose. Malty and grainy with a dusty touch, shy hop flavours in the finish. Decent Helles.
