Test vom 3.12.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,8,7,8,8 - 8,05

Bottle. Had I known this one contains a truckload of saccharine, I would never have bought it. Dark brown, frothy and quite sustaining head. Supposedly aromatic, the only aroma is a bit toasted grain and caramel, all quite weak. Taste is watery with caramel and faint maltiness, with the artificial sweetener being the main origin of any taste. Suffice it to say, the sweetener tastes awful. There is some saccharine chemical astrigency in the aftertaste replacing any bitterness. I’ve had sweeter beers but I’ve never had one with such an overbearing presence of saccharine. Awful.
