UPDATED: DEC 23, 2012 Malty beer, low in alcohol and soft sweetnes, hints of hop. Good beer for desserts containing chocolate.

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Lacks roast and chocolate. More dunkel than porter. Watery palate. Avoid.

NEE

Bottle. dark brown color. Malt, caramel and apple syrup in both aroma and flavor. Almost sugary sweet, glas I refrigerated the beer. DDR-classic that doesn’t appeal. The hint of sourness however makes it drinkable.

Bottle. Horribly sweet. Dark copper colour, poor head. Aroma is again sweet, hints of toffe, toast, malt, brown sugar. No bitterness. Couldn’t finish it.

Bottle. Really sweet, sugary, caramelly stuff. Thickish consistency due to the excessive sweetness. Drinkable somehow but I guess Eastern German porters are really not my mug of beer.

Countbeer (4709) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2014
Bottle: Served in a shaker: Medium sized vanilla beige creamy foam head on top of a Aromas of tea herbs, sweet malts, sweet toast, some raisin, sweet wood and some prunes... Flavours of barey malts, raisin, some herbs, light toast, some rye, more darker sweets than bitters, a sprinkle of brown sugars and some sweet wood. Aftertaste is a mix of sweet barley malts, some bitters, sweet wood and raisin. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low to medium bodied and a creamy texture. Porter... Must be one of the strangest porters I have tasted...

goozen (3064) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - APR 4, 2014
Bottle 0,5ltr: Brown coloured brew with an watery sweetbitter taste with something chocolate, some sour and some caramel. Not bad at all this German Porter-style with an lower alcohol than the usual American, British and Baltic counterparts.

Moravius (595) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2013
Flasche aus einem Getränkemarkt in Sebnitz (Aug. 2012). - Rubinrotbraun, sahniger beigefarbener Schaum.
