The head is ok, the body golden. The taste is soft, sweet-malty, less hoppy. Less interesting but ok-drinkable. 11/9/10/9/10/10

from bottle. clear yellow golden colour with minimal head. aroma is light malts and some hops, hay and barnyard, perhaps some citric nuances as well. sweet taste, light body, light bitterness in the aftertaste. some caramel notes. average carbonation. boring stuff, not veary pleasent.

Pours pale yellow, clear, and with a lacing white head. Light caramel malty aroma. Flavour is light breadish and malty flavour. Ends with a lingering breadish malt flavour.

Eichbaum Export is a straw golden color, ultra clear full bodied beer with tons of carbonation bubbles, which produces a good foaming head amount that does not dissipate quickly and dissolves into fine sticky lacing and the head has great preservation. This gives off aromas close to that of a typical, classic German Pilsner, but of course this is not a pilsner by far. There is a slightly sweet malt aroma, but also a good touch of floral hops, altogether a nice freshly mown hay fragrance. The taste is classic as well, its spicy hops that helps to dominate the lager while a simple nice touch of grain and malt, lend a supportive hand that in turn balances out the fine beer. This tastes a lot like a good Pilsner up until the end, which it finishes clean like a bitterer Pils, but then sweet and slightly spicy flavors will fill your taste buds at the end. I enjoyed this beer, one of the better Exports I have had in a while. I have always enjoyed Exports more than Pilsners. I always have and always will. This is a refreshing and smooth lager, very enjoyable and very highly recommended, since this beer is brewed in Mannheim, 15 - 20 minute drive from the part of Germany that I live in ........."Die Odenwald, Suedhessen, Deutschland / The Odenwald, South Hessen, Germany (Hessen’s southern forest area)". The balance of this beer, excellent flavor, and easy drinkability make this one hell of a good brew. Exportbiere sind ja meistens etwas stärker eingebraut und haben einen süffigen Geschmack. So ist es denn nun auch bei diesem Getränk, dem "Eichbaum Export". Es hat einen leicht höheren Alkoholgehalt und sieht auch ansonsten richtig gut aus. Goldgelb, dazu ein schöner Glanz und der Schaum wirkt auch ansprechend. Aber das wichtigste ist ja immer der Geschmack. Und der kann voll und ganz überzeugen. Süffig, malzig, ja, ein klein wenig Karamell ist herauszuschmecken. So muss ein Export schmecken. Der Abgang ist relativ lang und der Hopfen kommt auch nur ganz zum Schluss durch, und dass auch nicht übertrieben dominant. Insgesamt ist dieses Bierchen ist richtig gutes. Prost!

Golden with a medium head. for me, it was pretty boring but not bad. some spicy smell and taste, a bit malty, pleasant bitterness, that’s basically all ther is to say about it.

(Tap) Es hat die Farbe wie ein Getreidefeld auf einem VanGogh, es ist klar filtriert und hat eine weiße Schaumkrone. Das schlanke, malzige Aroma hat eine winzige fruchtige Note. Der Geschmack ist vollmundig-süß mit einem leichten Beigeschmack von...(Der Nachbartisch hats rauchen angefangen). Im Abgang kommt dann die breite, über den gesamten Mundraum verteilte, Bittere, die dann auf dem Gaumen kleben bleibt. Das Mundgefühl ist prickelnd und erfrischend. Zusammengefasst, weder gut noch schlecht.

Blond color. Light malt aroma and flavor, correct bitterness. As useless as the Pils, but just a bit less dry.

Bottled. Light gold color with medium white head. Aroma, fruit, bread. Taste slightly hops and malt. Bittersweet finish. Average beer.
