(bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, persistent, off-white foamy head. Sweet, very grainy, slightly toasted aroma with notes of caramel and a rather shy hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium body and carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly toasty and a bit papery taste; fruity malty finish with a light bitterness and a touch of cardboard in the aftertaste. Mediocre Festbier.

Light toffee malt and grass hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Very lightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter hay hops flavor. Decent for what’s there - just isn’t much.

Can 500ml. @ home.

ABV: 5.8%. Clear light medium amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, malty, dolle fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, malt bitter, malty, festbier alike, caramel, old malt, malt sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Barcode: (40515080). [20111223]

Hopfig-malziger Antrunk, mild. Auch im Mittelteil ist es Bier noch mild, das Malz kann sich kaum durchsetzen, was auch den Vorteil einer gewissen Spritzigkeit hat. Da das Bier aber nur im Winter erhältlich ist, ist dies eigentlich nebensächlich. Das Bier wird nun würziger, ist aber immernoch weit davon entfernt, ein "Bier für den Winter" zu sein. Der Apostulator der Brauerei ist hier deutlich besser zu empfehlen! Test vom 5.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,8,8,9,11,8 - 8,20

Pours clear and deep golden a white head. Nose of hops, light malt and caramel. Medium sweet flavour with caramel, hops amd notes of light malt. Light to medium bodied. Pleasant bitter finish. OK but rather boring.

50 cL bottle, as Winterbier. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Dry hoppy and light cornish aroma. Sweet malty and light spiced flavoured. Mild bitterness following into a medium dry and malty finish.

Pours a medium golden amber color. Aromas of roast malts, caramel, and some hops. Flavors of sweet malt, wheat bread and some nice hopping.

Bottle. Golden amber colour with a big tan head. Caramel malty, light dusty aroma and a light sweet caramel malty, hop taste. Medium body with a light sweet dry finish.

Bottle. Light golden coloured with a small head. Slightly sweet and malty. And kinda hoppy in the aftertaste.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter end.
