Sweet, very grainy, slightly toasted aroma with notes of caramel and a rather shy hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium body and carbonation. Malt-accented, slightly toasty and a bit papery taste; fruity malty finish with a light bitterness and a touch of cardboard in the aftertaste. Mediocre Festbier.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, caramel, malty, dolle fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, malt bitter, malty, festbier alike, caramel, old malt, malt sugar. Hopfig-malziger Antrunk, mild. Auch im Mittelteil ist es Bier noch mild, das Malz kann sich kaum durchsetzen, was auch den Vorteil einer gewissen Spritzigkeit hat. Da das Bier aber nur im Winter erhältlich ist, ist dies eigentlich nebensächlich. Das Bier wird nun würziger, ist aber immernoch weit davon entfernt, ein "Bier für den Winter" zu sein. Der Apostulator der Brauerei ist hier deutlich besser zu empfehlen!
