Much better than Bohemian Pilsners in my opinion. A solid performer, although not outstanding.

Can sample at a tasting at Vova’s place. Thanks DSG. Clear light gold with white head. A little metallic aroma. Crispy, malty, lightly bitter taste. Medium body, bitter finish.

Can shared at a tasting at Vova’s place. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, a bit grainy, with some grassy hops. Slightly sweetish flavor with malt, a bit grainy, with a bitterish finish with light hoppiness, slightly metallic. Quite light-bodied.

500ml can. It is more pale than a normal pils for me but taste is OK, some malt and hop beside a very little smoke and earthy note. Co2 is average, body is almost thin as colour signs it, but foam is quite long lasting.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear pale gold, thick white long-lasting head. Aromas of corn, metal, light grassiness. Taste is more of the same. Astringent finish, not bad.

German lager, more of a commercial, bit bland pale lager than a real traditional German Pilsener, snow white head, clear golden colour, malty character with some bitter hops in the finish. Clean and crisp like any good lager should be, but I’ve had far more interesting Germans than this.

500ml can from Hipecor, Oviedo. BBF 05-03-2015. 03-04-2014.
In short: a grasy sweet pils.
Pours golden, quite clear, with nice white head.Short head retention, some lacing. Grassy, malty, sweet aromas. Light body, average carbonation, some crispy texture. Taste follows the nose, smooth, grassy, malty. Sweet aftertaste. A bit dull and boring.

Good pilsner with aroma of grain, malty taste with rather strong bitterness at the end. Surpisingly good for its price
