Allen (644), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Aug 18, 2008 Bottled 33cl. Pretty bad. Metallic with some hints of metal sneaking in, .. in both nose and taste. This beer reminds me a bit of Feldschlösschen... Some honey sneaking in. Some hop presence in here: But desperately reminding me of soy sauce... Rather poor. Soapy. Decent finish. Bad stuff. I’m not a big fan of Eichhof. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Jul 5, 2007 Bottled (Thanks Bov!). Yellow colour with mediumsized creamy white head, lacing. Aroma is some salty hops along with malty tones. Flavour is very malty, some hops and a nicely upbalancing tone of honey coming in the background. The honey grows for the finish and leaves a very nice flavour. Svensson248 (5), Maidstone, Kent, England does not count May 19, 2007 Smooth taste and goes down well and has a stronger taste than regular Eichhof lager
This is one of Eichhof’s premium brands and I was served it in Luzern, Eichhof’s home. beerlady (230), lucerne, Switzerland May 7, 2006 little white head, dont lasts long
smells hoppy,a bit malty,a little bit sweet,
is fizzy in the mouth,
tasts hoppy,a bit malty, some alcohol is there,lager-style taste(but better than for example eichhof lager, but i prefer eichhof klosterbräu edeltrüb)
aftertaste hoppy and maltyer than it tasts. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jul 2, 2004 Bottle@Spiesys. Sweet malty and thin, pretty clean and all that, but this just plain sucked, some noticeable alcohol in the finish, quick finish, some metal.
