1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 fiulijn (10407) - Como, - NOV 10, 2002
Very simple lager; final less bitter than the Eichhof Pony (and without the blood and metallic note). <a href=’http://home.datacomm.ch/fiulijn/index.html’& of Switzerland

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2012 Tap at Da Paolo in Geneva. Basic lager, decent golden colour, crisp and drinkable, mild hint of pilsener hopping. Not great but had a lot worse.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 5, 2008
Bottled 33cl. It pours a clear golden beer. Unpleasant sulphury nose. Boiled vegetables, malt, metal, soy sauce, blood and marzipan in the taste. Surprisingly full bodied. Sweet. Low bitterness. The alcohol is rather present. White bread in the finish which is slightly hoppy and mainly sweet. Some residual sugars. Better than the average Eichhof beer.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Beltramelli (471) - Campinas, BRAZIL - JUN 4, 2008
Eis uma cerveja absolutamente parecida com as "macros" brasileiras: Absolutamente AGUADA. Creme pouco denso e consistente. Paladar de água com leve toque de lúpulo. E só.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 patrick767 (2840) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 24, 2007
draft in Lucerne - Pours clear gold with a thin head. It has a light pale malt aroma and a similar flavor with some mild hops that are very typical of European lagers. I noted that it’s similar to Heineken but with a little more flavor from the malt. Not bad, not too good.

From my notes 6/8/07 - Very similar to their lager - pours a two-finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Hoppy/skunky nose. Very good carbonation and light bodied. Flavor is hoppy with a hoppy finish. To me less desirable than the lager. S.FR.5.00 ($4.07) for a 300ml bottle at Grand Hotel Europe Lucerne, Switzerland.

Very crips with dry finish. No lingering after-taste. Golden with thin head. Some bitter notes, but they did not dominate the session.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 anders37 (9920) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2005
Golden colour with small white head. Some hoppy aroma. Thin watery taste with some thin maltyness. Dry and sweet mouthfeel. Easy drinking beer but not my favourite.

Golden colour, light head, average hoppiness, reasonable mouthfeel, slight bitterness, dry and malty finish. Had worse, quite glad of it last time I was in Switzerland.
