Bottle 33 cl at zum Braunen Mutz, Basel. Poured light brown in colour with light tan head. Light malty with dark fruits in aroma. Caramel in flavour with some dark dried fruity sweetness. Medium carbonated. Aftertaste pleasant smooth and sweet brown sugary.
A bit dry finish. Leaves a nice lacing the glass.

Good head of medium resistance. Nice dark/brown golor with a long and persistant bright aspect. Little roast notes, malty, cereals, woody. Bitterish and alcoholic content, good prickly body with a long persistant ashed smell.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 4, 2008
Bottled 30cl. Sampled at Brasserie Federal in Zürich. It pours a deep ruby beer with a foamy light beige head. Average head retention. Very interesting nose with hints of candy floss, caramel, pear and metal. Some soy sauce sneaking in. Sweet taste with caramel dominating. Medium bodied. Some lacework. Alcohol, pear and candy floss showing up. Metallic. Sweet finish. Another mediocre beer from Eichhof.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Dark copper colour with small beige head. Aroma is very much cotton (!!!), caramel malts and hios, Flavour is caramel malts and overall very sweet. Not very much flavourwise except that, so a watery, but refreshing thing is what to expect....
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 ChrisThomson (522) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 11, 2007
This is the only half-decent Eichhof product and the only thing keeping me from boycotting the brewery. It pours a decent brown colour with faint head. It has a bit of roasty malt in the taste and some sweetness.
