1l-bottle from Getränke Hausler, Schwandorf. Hazy dark brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose with hints of roasted malts. Fill-bodied, malty with lovely flavours of roasetd malt, chocolate and caramel. Well rounded with some very good aromatic hops. Lovely chcolota flavour also in the finish. A heavenly brew!

Thin dark beer with almost a purplish color with a bit of caramel and chocolate (but light). No bitter/sour, but mildly sweet. Light on the tongue, not fizzy, a bit soft. Would be awesome with a bread type dish

Test vom 17.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,13,12,13,12,13 - 12,70

b) Spezial Dunkel

Bootled: Hazy reddish-amber color, creamy, off-white head. Lively carbonation. Flavor is full of roasted malt, light sweetness and some refreshing sourness. Dry, roasty finish. Nice roasty dunkel.

Trendy frosted white bottle. Fairly roasted caramel light salted peanut aroma. Red chestnut, golden layer. Big roast and chocolate initially, much more than usually so in a german dunkel. Mellows to a medium chewy sweet body with a herbal light spicy finish. Mellow mouthfeel. Quick roasted aftertaste. Interresting.

Bottle
Chestnut colour, tanned creamy lacing head. Caramelized and roasted aroma with berbs. Light dark bread base, a bit herbal (mint, basil, oregano) play. Medium to light body, mellow sparkly mouthfeel.
