3fourths (8230) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 15, 2013
draft at Brauerei Eichhorn in Forchheim. same perfect appearance as the helles - huge rocky white head on a sparkling rich gold body. the German hops are spicy and mildly juicy, then become a bit more sweaty / stenchy, musty and pungent (cheese rind) with dried grass notes throughout. smacking, crisp and light-bodied with frothy, full, soft carbonation. lemon / citrus oil comes into play as it breathes more. leaves a pleasant mineral and hop acid buzz in the mouth.

Draught: Pale golden to golden, small fluffy, slowly collapsing white head; aromatic woody hoppy nose; dry bitter-sweet flavour, quite soft and almost medium bodied; slightly lingering bitter-aromatic and pal-malty finish. A fine, aromatic Pils........

Yellow colored with little white head. Slightly buttery aroma with fine hops, fruits also present, decent German one. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also crispily hopped and palated with fruits, slight cardboard also present. Aftertaste is still hopped and fruity. Decent good pils.

Maria (10176) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2008
From tap in the brewery’s Biergarten. Light golden with a very dense head. The aroma has notes of malt and hops, and the flavour has a light sweetness and nice and fruity hops. It’s smooth and delicious in the malt/caramel note and it has hops that gives a pleasant bitterness. It’s very harmonic and nice.

Ungstrup (29848) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2007
Draft. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty and slighlty flowery. The flavor is sweet malty with a light note of butter mingling with the notes of flowery hops, leading to a bitter finish, where the buttery note lingers. Not as clean as expected.

Papsoe (25083) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2006
(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head leaving laces. Malty nose with traces of butter. Medium body with sweet notes of malt and again a whiff of butter. Dry but not overly hoppy finish. 121106
