From tap in the brewery’s Biergarten. Light golden with a very dense head. The aroma has notes of malt and hops, and the flavour has a light sweetness and nice and fruity hops. It’s smooth and delicious in the malt/caramel note and it has hops that gives a pleasant bitterness. It’s very harmonic and nice.

Draft. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty and slighlty flowery. The flavor is sweet malty with a light note of butter mingling with the notes of flowery hops, leading to a bitter finish, where the buttery note lingers. Not as clean as expected.

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head leaving laces. Malty nose with traces of butter. Medium body with sweet notes of malt and again a whiff of butter. Dry but not overly hoppy finish. 121106

Bottle, bought in a Getränkehalle near Forchheim. Hoppy hay-like flavor with leak and a hint of boiled milk. Just a bit malty. Also hay in the aroma. Smells and tastes very rural, has somewhat of a barnyard character.
