Aug 19, 2006 From tap at the wonderfully hidden Blümleinskeller at the Annafest. Aromatic hop aroma. Couldnt see much of the colour due to the Stein and the amazing super stable head. Full malt body and noble hops, light metallic clayish notes - it tastes like the beer has absorbed a bit of the rock from the old Keller. Chewy full body. Fruity aftertaste (pears, clementines). Franconia Rocks!

Aug 2, 2006 Bottle: Golden coloured, a bit hazy, small foamy layer; strong sweet grainy (barley) nose; quite dry malty-grainy taste, sweetish flavour, medium bodied; short, drier, a bit alcoholic, grainy finish. A rather bland, unaromatic brew, not moreish............

Jun 25, 2006 (bottle, thankfully received from pivnizub) Clear, deep golden to light amber colour with a rather short creamy, minimal off-white layer. Toasted malty aroma, moderately sweet and dusty with a tinge of hops and honey. Slightly sweet flavour, medium body, soft carbonation, velvety mouthfeel. Moderately sweet and slightly toasty malty taste with a touch of honey and a subdued fruitiness; medium-dry, slightly bitter finish with balanced floral and herbal hops.
