From tap in the brewery’s Biergarten. Red-brow amber with a dense head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and syrup. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of syrup, roasted malt, light coffee and the overall impression is somewhat disturbed by an unbalanced grapefruit in the finish.

Bottle (as Braun’s Eichhörnla - "Little brown squirrel"): Clear, amber coloured, huge loose slowly diminishing off-white to brownish head, sweet dark-malty, slightly toasted nose with a light fruity touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; sweet-darkmalty finish with a light fruitiness. Quite decent brew.......

(On tap) Beautiful, clear orangey brown with a creamy, beige head leaving laces. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of burned caramel. Lightly hoppy finish. Nice all right. 121106
