formerly known as "Aria". In order to make it right: Aria has nothing to do with Aryan! Aria stands for Altbier recipe launched interesting. So it is a dark beer, a top-fermented beer with an amber appearance. It is full-bodied flavor and a pleasant hoppy bitterness, and I am including the hop dosing (I use only hops or hops pellets, best quality) not only to the bitterness, but also to taste the hops value.

Thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Amber in the glass. The nose is Altbier-typical and malty. The beer starts smooth and malty. Nice typical Altbier-yeast character, but the bitterness is too low for a good Altbier. The maltiness and the dryness is nearly perfect.
Nice Altbier! Highly drinkable with the typical yeast-characteristics. Probably a bit too much in the "GB Ale"-direction. --> 13/12/13/13

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Very lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is toffee, biscuit, dark fruit tinge. Taste comprises bitter fruits, pithy orange, caramel, dank tones, peach, mango, light soap. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle. A more or less clear one, dark golden in color and with a dense, light beige head. The aroma is weak, with caramel and a little fruity touch. Very soft and smooth on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Caramel and a fruity touch in the flavor. Some bitterness chiming in towards the end. Well, rather boring this one, but it drinks very easy. 140228

2x50cl aka Gievitzer Braumanufaktur Baltic Alt over 4w period. 1st bottle was a mild autumn leaf & earschmalz Alt with fragrant hops and a slight zestiness, 2nd bottle weeks later was discreetly "wild" in a Rodenbach fashion, dry and refreshing. Pours a chestnut & Brabant horse brown with impurities. Decent small-batch, slightly unstable stuff.

Bottle from McTapps, many thanks Sabine. Amber colored beer with small white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops. Taste, malt, caramel, fruit jam, citrus hops. Hoppy bitterness in fruity finish. Tasty, although, it doesn’t fit much to style.
