Draft @ De Hems, Soho W1. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty grainy aroma with some weak hints of oak. Fruity malty slightly oaky vanilla flavor. Has a sweetish fruity malty grainy finish with some hints of vanilla in the aftertaste.

Tap at The Dovetail in London. Light orange amber color with a white head. Grassy aroma. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Seems to thin a bit as carbonation leaves. Flavor is lightly fruity and the wood is very subtle. A lager that could pass for an English ale.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 maeib (6637) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2008
Draught, The Racehorse, Northampton. A hazy, pale brown coloured beer with a white head. The aroma and taste has sour hints presumably from the oak. Some fruit and actually a fair amount of character. Needs more body but the flavour does shows itself.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 leaparsons (6329) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2009
Bottle. Golden brown and dull with a small heads. Aromas are grain and tea with earthy hops and hints of citrus. Not especially oaky. Flavours are thin malts with dry tea. Not a lot going on.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DonMagi (5599) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2008
Draught in the beer cafe. Aroma is minimal, malty based though. Taste is similar though sweeter and i suspect caramel has been aded for colour aswell as flavour, however easy going non offensive and clean.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2008
Bottle. Pretty bad really. Crappy lager base and some oakyness i guess. Pretty sure this won’t last long on the market. Couldn’t really see the point. Boring?
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2008
Think we is all going a bit soft on InBev here. Fake red amber ringed with froth. Nose rubber, lemon, pastry, almond, some surprising Germanic hop. Mostly almond and rubber, though. Tastes like it has been matured in an empty cornflake box. Massive absence of oak. Thin pencilly hop every few swigs. Just a generic stale metallic tinned pale lager taste. Better than standard Wifebeater. What the hell is the point in this except to shift units?
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 SilkTork (4737) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - MAY 2, 2008
Light, dry yet with a sweet flavour. Hints of vanilla icecream and lager hops. It’s OK - it’s drinkable - it’s the marketing buzz of the moment - from oak aged imperial stout to oak aged pale lager - everyone is getting in on the act. Fizzy.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 RichardGretton (3759) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2009
Bottle. Bronze beer with a semi strong head. The aroma is lightly yeasty and dry, and the flavour is plainly yeasty and dry. Overall an average lager.
