3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (8991) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 3, 2009
Bottle as Schwarzbier from Vintage Cellar. Deep reddish copper color with a frothy beige head. Aromas of black toasted breadiness. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Heavy roast malt flavor with some burnt aspects. It’s very like a "sweetish schwartzbier". Quite decent lager. More refreshing than many dunkels.
