Aug 23, 2007 Updated: Oct 7, 2007500ml on tap at Tjeldsundfergen - Outdoor seatting enjoying a cool and warm summer evening in Oslo with fellow ratebeerians. The brew comes in a clear amber body with a white head leaving very nice lacing on the glass. Moderate malty aroma with hoppy hints. Good and clean taste of plain malt and toast. Dry ending (20.08.2007).

Aug 18, 2007 Bottle. Poured copper gold with a lasting white head. Sweet maltish aroma. Altho’ this was in a green bottle, it had not been skunked by the light. Sweet malty flavour witj caramel notes. Disappointing finish, just a little on the side of the tongue. It just fell off the table, flavour-wise.

Aug 9, 2007 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of caramel malts, dark fruits, sweet malts, and some floral hops. Flavor is sweet up front with the caramel and sweet malts and finishes with the dark fruit and floral hops. Ok but nothing great.

Jul 14, 2007 330 ml bottle. Crystal clear amber colour. Medium-sized white head. Lightly burnt caramel aroma. Butterscotch. Hops are clearly there, but hides well behind the rich maltiness. Lots of hops upfront that leaves a drying and bitter sensation on the tongue. Medium-bodied. Caramelly flavours and rich melanoidins. Soft texture with some sweetness. Not my favourite Einbecker, but still nice.
