Bottle. Golden in Colour With a big white steady head. Has a weak hoppy smell. You got more of the hops in the taste. But it is not a very bitter taste. Has a little metallic aftertaste. I like the ur-bocks better from this brewery.

Bottled. Bright golden, creamy head. Sweet and softly malty and some paper (in a pleasant way). Medium bitterness. Uncomplicated.

Clean, golden body, heavy carbonation. Generous bubbly head, mostly lasting. Nothing special in the nose. Decent maltiness and bitterness. The finish is a bit more interesting, hoppy, with a slight hazelnut note and an acidic touch. Palate is a bit thin. Nothing exciting here. Still drinkable.

Draught at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden. Golden with a large, steady head. A somewhat hoppy and fresh aroma and flavour with some bitterness. A lot weaker than I expected.

(The beer was 2 Month out of date). Light with stiff head. Very corny aroma and taste. kamlty, hard, dry bitterness with long, burning finish.

i’m not the biggest helles fan but i did expect more from this after tasting their other beers. the expected north german spicy bitterness was replaced by rockmelon sweetness
