Pours a slightly cloudy copper colour with a short lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet malt and a hint of yeast. Sickly sweet malt taste. Viscous feel with a lasting sweet malt finish.

Klar orangebrun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Brendt karamell, nøtter og maltlukt. Bittersøt smak med karamell og brunt sukker i starten før lett bitter avslutning.

Zlotta (101) - Bonn, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2014 0,33 l bottle. Crystal clear, amber with creamy white, slowly diminishing head. Weak, appetising aroma of molasses, dark cherries and caramel. Sweetish taste which follows the aroma. Medium body, flat carbonation, chewy mouthfeel. Surprisingly intense alcoholic finish. Solid beer I could drink a lot of.

Flaska av kompis, tack Johan! Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska. Doft av säd, bröd och aningen karamell. Karamelltonen återkommer i smaken. Relativt hög beska. Smakrik, inte så tokig.

Rather sturdy and richly flavored malty brew. A little bit of alcohol can be noticed in the finish. No detectable hops. Not bad.

330 ml bottle at the Moerlein Lager House. Pours a mostly clear orange with a small, creamy off-white head. Some lace and spots. Aroma of caramel, banana, leaves, grass, straw, and wet cardboard. Flavor of caramel, banana, leaves, mild spice, clove, straw, grass, earth, and seasoned cracker. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, and a malty, earthy mouthfeel. Very German. Maybe a little old, too.

(Einbecker Ur-Bock Dunkel) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a snifter. ABV 6.5% Light amber in colour, very clear body. Good sized head, off white in colour, quite good retention. Medium lacing left behind. Aroma of grass, caramel, malts. Some red fruit notes. Taste is better, still lots of malts and sugars, quite sweet taste but there is a nice bitterness on the aftertaste. Grass, floral notes too. Although just 6.5%, it’s quite boozy. Medium thin body, good carbonation, mildly dry palate. Nothing special but if you manage not to pay attention to its booziness, drinks okay.
