TaxiDriver (1372) - Stadland, GERMANY - DEC 31, 2008
Bottle. The aroma is surprisingly sweet, reminds mich nearly of cherries. Later on it gets maltier. The head is rather small, white and creamy-milky with a normal duration. The body is dark red and clear. The taste is malty, the finish is bitter and not so nice. The body is medium stron, a little bit creamy with normal carbonation. Unfortunately the finish is not so good.

pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2008
Bottle. Reddish-amber coloured, small, quite stable off-white head. Moderate sweet-fruity <dried fruits> to grainy nose with a tinge of alcohol and some hoppy edges. Medium to full bodied, solid bitter-sweet flavour. Not very sweet, but solid vinous-malty finish with some distinctive hoppy influences and a warming touch of alcohol. Quite dry, well balanced Doppelbock.......

From tap Am alten Zolln Lübeck. Pours clear and golden orange with a dense and off-white head. Malty and roasted aroma, quite mild. Flavour is roasted malt, caramel and with a slight alcohol presence. Mild bitterness and light metallic touch before the finish. Fullbodied and smooth finish.
