fresh deep malt and barley toasted right from the farm. some sweetness and alcohol it is a bit slick yet refreshing with little evidence of hop, until the finish. beautiful orange color and aroma this is what i like in a malty brew. a tart, tangy sideshow character of something like carrot on Maple leaf, how do those Germans make that fine, definitive beer?

Very good beer. I really enjoyed the rich, traditional winter-beer flavor, despite the minimal spice and extra junk. I think its clean, rich, malty, nutmeg, brown sugar, and spice all work nicely. Its quite well developed and really engineered to a T. Try this one if you are into German Winter style beers. Its great
