3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - APR 24, 2012
21/11 0.5 l bottle, thanks ogivlado for sharing! It poured clear copper to brownish colored body. Small, off-white head. Very sweet, cloying caramel plus honey aroma. Flavor was actually better than expected at the given moment, still sweet but less, slightly woody towards the end. Full sticky body of course, finish was longer. Pretty much OK and a quite typical doppelbock.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - NOV 27, 2011
Croatian November ’11 tasting, Ogi’s. Poured a very very dark ruby body with a thick off white head. Sweet fruity nose, raisins, light dogfood... hmm... The taste, however, more than made up for that, lovely honeyish malty notes, balanced with some light bitterness, slightly creamy and roasty, very light raisins. No alcohol presence. A quality doppelbock, a bit simple but very effective - good job Einsiedler!

Dark mahogany color. Mild caramel aroma, but nice. Quite good caramel flavor, with a good body, quite sweet, with chocolate. Low bitterness. Straight forward, but pleasant.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Kristall-König (1642) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUN 23, 2011
Malzig-süßer Duft mit rosinigen Beimengungen. Herb-malziger Antritt.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2011
