Geiserich (2338) - Vienna, - FEB 5, 2009
Bottled (about 3 years old): Caramelic, malty and light roasty aroma. Cloudy, dark amber color. Creamy, off-white head. Flavor is pleasant malty with some caramel, fruit, sugar and alcohol. Pleasant balanced by the hop and roasted malt bitterness in the finish and a dry bitter, long finish. Very good, aged beer.

Test vom 18.12.2004, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,3,1,8,4 - 4,25

suprchunk (1059) - Heinsberg, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2011
Pours amber almost tan. Small white head that fades fast. Crystal clear. Malt and fusel alcohol. A little honey aroma masked in there, but that might be from the overabundance of malt sweetness in the nose. A quaffable sweet concoction. The hotness from the alcohol does come through quite abundantly though. Thin and hot. Not much surprise in this one as everything in the nose and tongue blend into the hot, thin beverage that you consume. Not bad. An average drinker.

heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - MAR 31, 2010
19/03 0.5 l bottle from Bier-Spezialitäten-Laden, Berlin. It poured copper body with small head. Weak aroma, some caramel, lemon and honey. Fine caramel and roasted malt flavor, herbal hops, quite strange for a heller bock, but whole beer is not typical. Slightly sourish here as well. Medium bodied with some short, boring bittersweet and even slightly metallic finish. Didn’t push my buttons at all.
