(bottle) Almost cloudy, copper colour with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly yeasty cara-malty aroma with berry-fruity and bready notes. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium to full bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. Hearty cara-malty body with yeasty and fruity accents, as well as shy woody hoppy notes towards the sweet-bitter finish. Quaffable brew with a (still) typical abv for a Bock from the (former) Soviet-occupied zone. 17.XI.10

Süßliche Herbe zu Beginn, die getreidige und geringe hellmalzige Noten beinhaltet. Im Mittelteil rückt der Alkohol in Form einer süß-hefigen Note in den Vordergrund, dies allerdings nur, weil hier sämtliche Aromen schwächeln. Die nun trockene Herbe ist im Abgang das stärkste Aroma. Ein wenig langweilig, der Bock, ein malzintensives Aroma wäre schön. 11/8/8/6/8/8

Bottle. Amber, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty - lightly grainy and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light bread, light alcohol. Medium, malty - lightly grainy and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some alcohol. Finish is average, malty - lightly grainy and sweetish, light caramel and light bread with some alcohol. Sweet bock with caramel and alcohol.

Pours hazy brown color with small head. Aroma of light malts, some banana, spices and distant fruits. Flavor of banana, apricot and spices. Spicy, dry and bitter palate.

# 3031 ersma: ein naturtrüber bock - sehr ungewöhnlich, aber kann ja nur nützen. ist als jahrgangs-adventsbier deklariert. sehr dunkel bernsteinfarben-orange. trübe, aber ohne schwebeteilchen. trotz kräftige bewegung der flasche will sich der bodensatz nicht lösen. der schaum sieht gut aus. der geruch ist dezent süßlich, melassig. dazu etwas säuerlich. der antrunk ist süßlich, getreidig und ganz leicht rauchig-schinkig. honig, melasse, dazu etwas hefe und die säuerlichkeit, die typisch für naturtrübe biere ist. dazu etwas hopfen, der zur mitte hin deutlicher wird, wobei die aromen aber dominant bleiben. der abgang ist malzbetont mit nur noch wenig herben aromen. süßlich, getreidig. etwas karamell und honig. nach energischem schwenken der neige und eingießen des bodensatzes ergibt sich ein etwas anders bild: säuerlich-fruchtiger antrunk mit noten von saurem apfel und etwas zitrus. der weitere verlauf ist ähnlich, aber doch einiges aromatischer und intensiver. die flasche hat etiketten mit metallic-druck, sieht ok aus. fazit: grad die vorher-nacher-nummer zeigt mal wieder, was dem konsumenten bei den ganzen totgefilterten bieren entgeht. so oder so ein angenehm zu trinkender bock. probierenswert. 12,11,10,10,11,10 10,40

500ml bottle. Cloudy dark amber with nice creamy off-white head. Rapidly fading hop aroma gives way dark malt aroma of low intensity. Keller-like beginning with dry strawy notes, underlying dark malt sweetness. Good decision to leave it unfiltered - the "filtrate" plays a harmonic counterpart to the dark malt component. Not too heavy, Bock-character stays in background.

(bottle) pours a slightly hazy copper colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy grain and sweet spices, marzipan, caramel. flavour is mostly the same, lots of grain, with a light alcohol presence and a medium bitter finish. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Juniper spicy nose. Cloudy orange, offwhite head. Spicy, honeyroasted base, tastes stronger than it is - bottle is wellagered though, might have fermented on. Dry yet chewy mouthfeel. Molassis and light metallic grassy hop aftertaste, quick finish.

Rather light aroma for a bock, some spices and aged fruits. Flavour has some spices and well-aged apricot. Some solvent also. An OK bock, but definitely nothing more.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty sweetish grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty sweetish caramel flavor. Has a sweetiosh fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Bottle: Hazy, copper coloured, rather quickly diminishing fluffy off-white head; sweet darkmalty and fruity nose, completed by the inevitable yeasty touch and a faint hoppy background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and a bit fizzy; sweet caramelly and fruity finish, accompanied by a distinctive bitterness and a slight touch of alcohol in the aftertaste. Be caraful, it can cause flatulences.....
