Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet wheaty combined with fruity notes especially of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with notes of banana, leading to a dry and slighlty wheaty finish.

Bottle from Venerables. Hazy golden colour, medium white head. Nose is wheat, bit of banana. Flavour is wheat and banana. Fairly dry and slightly bitter finish. A bit harsh.

Hazy medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, banana, bubble gum, clove, light yeast. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy to watery, carbonation is soft. [20111108]

Draught @ Pazzeria. Color cloudy yellow with big head. Aroma citrus, spicy. Taste citrus, dry, spicy.

Geruch hefig-nelkig, bisweilen sogar streng. Sofort stark nelkiger einsetzender Aromenschwall, anhaltend. Ab der Mitte etwas hefiger und milder mit herben Akkzenten. Im Abgang wieder deutlich würzig.

Süßer, etwas würziger Geruch. Milder Antrunk, etwas würzig, penetranter Unterton, der zumindest leicht an ein Alkoholfreies erinnert. Dieser Unterton kommt nach und nach in den Vordergrund und ist zuletzt alleine. Entäuschendes Bier.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is banana and estery dry wheaty. Dry wheaty and flat banana estery fruity flavoured. Dry and mild acidic finish.

Bottle, 5.3%. Mild banana aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Stable white head. The flavour has a little banana, hint of bread. Not so fresh, but also a month past BB date.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a collapsing foamy white head. Slightly milky and grainy malty aroma with a light wheaty but rather skunky notes of vegetables.-Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty, bready (cara-)malty, restrained wheaty and fruity taste; sweetish malty and faint fruity finish. Not the kind of Weizen I like. 01.IX.09

The bottle looks good - like all Einsiedler-bottles. Not much alcohol for a hefeweizen (4,7%). The beer is too dry and too less fruity. And it’s too clear in the glass. I think, the hefeweizens should be kept to bavaria.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, another great tasting session] Large fin bubbly white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat body with a yellow color. Aroma of wheat, banana, coriander, yeast, citrus and maybe light butter like notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet and acidic flavor. Light sweet finish. 27-07-07
