Poured golden orange colour with white head. Aroma is sweet fruity and banana. Test of 07.06.2008.

The bottle looks good - like all Einsiedler-bottles. Not much alcohol for a hefeweizen (4,7%). The beer is too dry and too less fruity. And it’s too clear in the glass. I think, the hefeweizens should be kept to bavaria.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, another great tasting session] Large fin bubbly white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat body with a yellow color. Aroma of wheat, banana, coriander, yeast, citrus and maybe light butter like notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet and acidic flavor. Light sweet finish. 27-07-07

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with a white ehad. Spicy aroma of bananas and wheat. Spicy flavour of bananas, wheat and hops.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet wheaty combined with fruity notes especially of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with notes of banana, leading to a dry and slighlty wheaty finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy golden with a nice, white head. Aroma of banana and yeast. Medium body with some fruit notes and then a somewhat unclean edge. 270707

Bottled. Hazy golden coloured. Fruity aroma with notes of bananas and bread. Sweetish fruity flavour. Medium to high carbonation level.

Bottle: Golden coloured, hazy, quickly diminishing, lacing white head; faint fruity nose mixed with cloves; fizzy mouthfeel; sweetish-bitter(!) flavour, light bodied to watery; delicate sweetish fruity finish. Not a very aromatic Weizen...........

Bottled: Very cloudy, yellow color. Creamy head. Light sweet and sour, fruity and spicy notes. Citrus and a quite intensive bitterness. Dry, astringent, quite bitte finish. A bit unbalanced.

Bottle. Zeastz and breadz nose. Cloudy yellow, massive champagne carbonation, huge whipped cream head. Bready base, dry minerally and quite spicy (cummin,coriander), a bit of citrus in there but not nearly as fruity as its southern bavarian counterpart - very good though. Dry, chewy and filling like crispbread.
