This limited-edition winter brew will make its debut in October, but this winter celebration ale is worth the wait. Malted barley and chocolate tones define the traditional style, while the robust aroma and long, mellow finish will make this the perfect companion for your holiday adventures.

After trying some of Einstok’s brews, it was quite a treat to try a decent holiday brew for Christmas. It runs amber with some tastes of fruits and caramel :) It’s a bit more fizzy than their other brews running more towards the bitter side :)

Bottle@ahven. Dark amber red brownish coliur, clear. Malty nice. Slight sweet, dry ripe dark fruits, some fresh leather. Med bodied, a bit of sweet malty roundness, but not enough to be oily. Malty, dark syrupy bread, some eathyness. Clean, bit sterile though.

Bottle @ Black Door, Helsinki. A color of dark reddish brown with a big and well lasting head. The aroma features nuts, toffee and caramel with some raisin; contains features typical in this style. Taste is light sweet and malt-driven, featuring caramel and hazelnut initially and drier toasty and bready malty notes in the finish. The palate is medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation and a velvety texture. Lots of quality in this Icelandic take on a traditional German style.
