Pours amber dark, clear with a small fast diminishing head. Faint malty aroma. Very malty taste, roasted malt, sweetness. hints of toffee/coffee. Malty roast lasting aftertaste. Soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. A decent medium bodied beer.

Sredniak, naprawdę bez rewelacji inne piwa z Islandii o wiele smaczniejsze. Czkawke miałem bo było zbyt słodkawe, zbyt karmelowe. Piana ladna bardzo szybko opada, kolor rubinowo czerwony, Klarowne w zapachu trochę kasztanow jadalnych i truskawek. Ale smak to tylko karmel i to w nieskonczonosc się ciagnacy. Niezbyt udane chyba.

Bottle. Pours clear brown amber with a small, staying, creamy beige head. Aroma has sweet malts, caramel, light grassy. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, caramel, toasted, grassy, firm bitterness. Light vinious. Fine dobbelbock.

Bottle. Pours clear (like all of my beers from Iceland), brown/dark amber in colour, thin head. Aroma of caramel, malt, some chocolate maybe. In taste medium sweet, malty with toffee, fruits and some chocolate. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, quite smooth. Nice.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Drukket på Lillehøgda påsken -16. Mørkebrun. Lavt skum. Svak, litt søtlig maltaroma. Smaken balansert. Mye malt. Lett syrlig etter hvert. Behagelig øl.

Appearance: pours clear red-brown with ok beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, straw, alcohol and some floral notes. palette: strong malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, balanced by a light to medium bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall:pretty good dobbel bock.
