Bottle. Dark brown with a thin puddly head. Toffee dominates the aroma. Flavour is toffee, mild coffee with a chewy malt backbone. Slightly sweet before a restrained bitter finish.

Bottle from Utobeer, Borough Market, London. Pours dark auburn like cherry cola. Very little head. Sweet fruitcake and brandy aroma. Very ordinary feel but an alcoholic kick and tang after the sweet orange peel and grapefruit taste. Tasty but a bit plain for a doppelbock.
