This limited-edition winter brew will make its debut in October, but this winter celebration ale is worth the wait. Malted barley and chocolate tones define the traditional style, while the robust aroma and long, mellow finish will make this the perfect companion for your holiday adventures.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Beer of month club selection. Pours amber color without much of a head. Nose was pure malt...nothing special. However, the taste was very sweet - caramel, some nuttiness, and a touch of malt. Not usually a fan of this style, but I thought this was pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2016 Pours clear amber-brown with a bit light tan head and nice lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel, toast, cooked bread, dried apples, brown sugar, alcohol, a little spice. Taste is sweet but not cloying, a little bitterness emerges towards finish. Full body, medium carbonation, nice alco warmness, not as sticky as expected. A nice winter sipper.

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter av sjokolade og karamellmalt. Fyldig og kjenner mye sødme i smak. Noe bitter i ettersmaken.

.33l Bottle in Stuttgart. Pours dark brown with tan head. Roasting barely, light chocolate/coffee/caramel goodness. Much like a Belgian. Very good, I'll have another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
