3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a half finger of head on a medium amber colored body.
The aroma is caramel and honey. Pleasant.
The taste starts out with mild bitterness, moves to chalky bitterness and finishes sour. A bit disjointed.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A descent pale ale.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I purchased a bottle of this today and it is my first Icelandic Beer. When poured it looks a pleasant orangey amber colour with noticable carbonation with a small bit of fizzy head. The smell reminded me more of a Pilsner which is no bad thing but nothing about it really struck me as being a typical pale ale. The taste is nice, again reminding me of a more malty pilsner with a refreshing yet minimal hop taste coming through with a mild amount of caramel like sweetness noticable. The carbonation settled quickly and the beer leaves a dry finish in the mouth.
All in all I enjoyed it and would rate it as a decent beer. Not sure if I will buy it again in a hurry as there are plenty of other beers I want to try.

Bottle. Caramel malt with fruity and resinous American hops, high bitterness, medium sweetness, some dog food / bran muffin raw malt aroma and flavor and a bitter finish of pine resin. A tad messy and lacks direction, and a bit sourish. Raw and unrefined.

Not really impressed by this. Talks a good talk just doesn’t deliver a punch of taste or flavour profile. #sadface

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Total wine Stuart. Pours brown with almost no head. Has a weird malt/garden thing on the nose. Not a lot of hoppiness on the tongue. Finishes clean. Eh!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at the Dolphin Hotel at Disney World. Mostly clear orange pour with a small white head. Might be a touch aged - getting a bit of cardboard. But nice caramel and earthiness - pretty drinkable stuff.
