COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American and Bavarian craft come together with the finest Icelandic water to create the Viking version of the Pale Ale, where robust hoppiness meets smooth malty undertones. Cascade hops give it the American character, while Northern Brewer hops add just enough bitterness to make this Ale refreshingly Icelandic.

Bottle from Myvatn natural baths, Iceland. Pours a true clear amberWith an of white head which is moderately laying and leaves some blobs of lacing. Aroma is maltiness, subtle spice, soap and perhaps some caramel. Not really any hops. Taste is quite bland which is a little disappointing. Malty sweetness with a fairly mild bitterness. Moderate carbonation and a weak to moderate body.

Clear deep copper hue with a thin off white ring of foam. Bitter leafy and earthy aroma with a little bit of bitter citrus peel throughout. Fresh and biscuity flavor thats got a touch of english toffee malt in there, maybe also some crisp light orange/leafy/herbaceous bitterness. Nicely balanced and crisp and English all throughout with a wee bit of American hop characteristic. Nutty toffee and dry biscuit on the finish.
