COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Bottle from Booth’s, Ripon. Black with a good tan head. Very chocolately aroma. Taste is bitter chocolate with some burnt toast and coffee. Gets sweeter on the finish. Really good, just a touch on the thin side.

Aroma of grape and light chocolate. There is a smooth and somewhat subdued flavor of milk and dark chocolates, grapes, and light coffee. Good mix of the flavors in an easy-drinking beer.

Reddish brown coloured beer, with thick and quite durable head on top with some smallish lacing too. Aroma has roasted coffee, and really strong roasted malt flavors, slightly burned even. Taste has roasted malts, coffee and a hint of sweetness. Medium body with medium-to-low carbonation makes this beer easy to drink, but leaves a bit mild picture behind. Should have a bit more powerful flavors.

Fresh bottle. Pours black with tall tan head. Aroma is toasted coconut, espresso, vanilla. Taste is dark roast coffee, toffee, faint dark chocolate (from the malt?). Definitely need to let this warm a bit out of the fridge. Got more and more complex as it warmed. The toasted elements are spot on. Maybe a little light for a porter but I’m used to american-style porters. Not bad at all.

33cl bottle from Drink Shop, Tallinn. Pours dark brown with a small, tan head. Roasty aroma with dark malts, dark chocolate, dark fruits, carmel and hints of spices. Medium sweet with fruity and malty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Pleasant an quite easy to drink porter. Nice one!
