COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Beatiful dark color. Aroma is fresh but not very strong. Taste is the best part. Mild and fresh with a little roasted flavor, and even a little bit coffeish.

Bottle - Black in colour. Malty; roasty (slightly burnt) malts, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, toffee, hint of smoke. Hoppy; Bavarian hops. Smooth. Roast/burnt malty throughout. Dry bitter roast finish. Easy drinking.

Nose is coffee chocolate and a touch of mint. Taste is soft coffee, leading to vanilla, lactose, toast, a little wood, little salt. Mouthfeel is velvety. This is not a porter really, but reasonable enough.

Deep ruby color, small beige head. Aroma is burned with some dark chocolate and barnyard. Medium-bodied, soft palate. Some milky-lactose sour-sweetness, toasted maltyness. Robust porter although flavor is a bit too simple for my liking.

Bottle from Nina’s Mini Market. Black body with a thin beige head. Light lacing. Aroma of espresso and dark chocolate. Lovely rich flavour of coffee, vanilla, salt and chocolate. Medium body with an oily texture. Average carbonation fizz. A well rounded Porter - much better than their Pale Ale.
