Enjoyed from bottle. Pretty good beer. Quite dark, medium body. fairly sweet. Little bit of coffee flavor. This beer is not bitter. Not from hops, not from coffee. I love hops and prefer an abundance of strong hop flavor in all my beer and this beer is far to the sweet side of flavor. For what it is is is quite good though, easy drinking and quite the treat. Would prefer more hop but still very good, not great, but yummy, cheers

Inpenetratable black color with strong coffee foam. Aromas, smoked wood, smoked salmon, coffee, and black chocholate, quite malty and smokey. Palate, medium body, thin and smooth texture leaving nice smoked coffee bean aftertaste. Taste is smooth light malt bitterness, reminds of coffee, chocolate and nice toasty hazlenuts. Overall, quite nice smooth easy going smoked porter nice to enjoy by fire.

Copenhagen 19/4 2016. 33 cl bottle from Mad &Vin. Stern Viking in silhouette on the label. Pours very Dark - almost opaque - brown with off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is a bit sharp and sour with some alcohol lurking in the background. Some roasted malt and coffee in there. Medium carbonation and thick oily palate. Taste is moderately sweet with some bitter coffee notes. Pretty light for a porter. Pleasant and easy to drink. It can’t be all bad to be Icelandic.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tried on Warsaw beer festival (4 th edition). It was tasted a little bit colder than it should be as a porter. Low BLG and alcohol as for that style. Average aroma - roasty. Very good, classic appearance. Taste is good but quite shallow, not so much complex as I expected from porter. Generally a little bit disappointing for me, next time I should tried it from bootle at higher temperature.

Kolor czarny, nieprzejrzyste.
Piana brązowa, drobna, opada ze śladami na szkle.
Aromat przyjemny, lekko palony, porterowy.
Poprawia się w miarę ogrzewania, dochodzą lekkie nuty drewniane.
Lekka nuta kojarząca się płatkami owsianymi.
Lekka nuta orzechowa.
Dość pełne w odczuciu.
